Azalea Charities is a sponsor for The Prince William Chamber of Commerce’s Salute to the Armed Services
The Prince William Chamber of Commerce hosted a “Salute to the Armed Services” on Wednesday, November 16. Azalea Charities was on hand as a sponsor at this breakfast event to honor our military heroes.
Treasurer Tom Rachele presented an overview on Azalea Charities Aid for Wounded Warriors, talking to the audience about the many ways our organization has helped our wounded heroes and their families.
Invited guests from Quantico and Fort Belvoir included Army Colonel Roark Anderson, Chief of Staff at Fort Belvoir; Lieutenant General Ron Christmas, retiring President of the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation; Lieutenant General Robert Blackman who is assuming the CEO position from Lt. General Christmas; Soldier of the Year and Marine of the Year. The Chamber also invited veterans groups including the American Legion and local VFW Chapters to thank them for their service and sacrifice.
