Introducing Team Azalea Charities

Team Azalea Charities is the online fundraising program of Azalea Charities, Inc, Aid for Wounded Soldiers project.  This year, Team Azalea Charities is partnering with the British Army Benevolent Fund America (BABFA) to enable team members to become advocates and raise funds for U.S. and British wounded service personnel.   The Team Azalea Charities program uses customizable internet-based campaigns to make fundraising for our cause easy, fun and rewarding.

Run for Wounded Soldiers

Benefiting soldiers in the US and UK

Our Team Azalea Charities’ runners, walkers, cyclists, triathletes, etc. dedicate their physical endeavors in 2009 to Aid for Wounded Soldiers, a 501(c)(3) non-profit project. Our partner, the British Army Benevolent Fund, is a UK- Registered Charity, benefiting our allied partners in the United Kingdom who are fighting side by side with our U.S. soldiers deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Together, these two projects provide support to families, comfort and relief items and various types of support to U.S. and British service personnel sick, injured or wounded from duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.  This is a 100% volunteer effort, with all contributions directly helping wounded personnel and their families at military and veteran’s medical centers, Fisher House rehabilitation facilities and British care centers. We also provide financial support to CrisisLink (a Hotline for U.S. wounded soldiers and their families), Hope for the Warriors charity, and special projects for combat wounded service personnel.  The purpose of our mission is to lift their spirits and enhance morale through a lifetime of assistance and support.
